Success Stories

  • The land of Mr. X was taken into possession by the required authorities in 1963. Later on, the authority had no requirement of it and was asked return the possession of the land to Mr. Das as per government order. When the possession of the said land was not returned, Mr. X approached the Hon’ble Court.

  • Ganga plan action: In this case the possession of the land was taken over by the concerned authority as per the provisions of West Bengal Land (Recongonition & Acquisition) Act. 1948 (Since expired). As the validity of the said act was extended, the concerned authority did not take initiative to neither pass the award nor to compensate the market value of the said land to Mr. X. Hence, Mr. X approached the Hon’ble court under Art. 226 of the Indian Constitution.
